Our purpose is to provide UCEAP personnel with information, data, analysis, and reports tailored to their specific needs. We hope that you will explore our reports to examine our products and capabilities, as well as send to us your data requests.
Products & Capabilities
UCEAP is a hub of international activity for UC and our capabilities, products, and links are intended to facilitate UCEAP planning, development, promotion, management, and review, as well as establish relationships with other organizations and agencies, inside and outside of UC, that deal with international education research.
We have aligned our research services to match UCEAP's role as the University of California’s platform for international academic exchanges. In short, the research service we provide are encompassed in the following subject areas: UCEAP Participant Statistics & Trends, UCEAP Application & Course Enrollment Data Analyses, UCEAP Program Evaluations, UCIE Program Reporting, External Data Resource Collections, Student Surveys, and Specific Content Report
UCEAP Participant Statistics & Trends
The Research unit maintains a database of EAP participants, and from it creates statistical data that is published on the UCEAP website. These reports are updated annually showing UC system-wide participation trends, and the characteristics (destination country and region, fields of study, ethnicity, sex, academic class level, and program duration) of EAP participants, over the most recent five to ten years.
